One More From Altarworthy

A few days ago I presented some work from the vestment maker, Altarworthy, which showed a unique design approach that included a painted scene on the central orphrey of the chasuble. Today, I thought I'd share another vestment this same company recently released, this one a more typical, but also splendid, Italian design.

I particularly like the cut of this chasuble, at least from what I can see of it, and the wavy braid in the Italian form, along with the the splendid gold and red textile all combine nicely for a very striking and well balanced design.

Simple yet festal.
